To order our tests, you must be at least 18 years old. Individuals under 18 require parental consent. Medical Room is not a replacement for traditional healthcare. If you experience any health concerns, you should always consult with a healthcare professional. By placing an order, you agree to our terms of purchase.
Test results will be delivered digitally through the login credentials you created during registration. The time taken to process results may vary depending on the type of analysis. For specific response time details, please refer to the product page.
It is the responsibility of the customer to ensure their unique test ID is properly registered in order to receive the analysis results. To ensure the utmost security, all results are sent encrypted and require ID verification.
All prices are quoted in GBP and include VAT.
Payments are processed securely through our payment provider, Stripe, and we accept VISA, Mastercard, and AMEX.
As a customer, you have the right to cancel your appointment free of charge up to 24 hours before the scheduled date and time. This right applies only if no part of the service has been delivered or initiated (i.e., the blood draw or home visit has not taken place).
Cancellations made within 24 hours of the scheduled appointment will incur a cancellation fee of £50. This fee will either be deducted from your refund amount or charged separately if payment has not yet been processed.
We kindly ask that you notify us as early as possible if you wish to cancel or reschedule your appointment to help us manage resources effectively.
To exercise your right of withdrawal, please contact us at reception@medicalroom.co.uk for further instructions. If the service has been scheduled but not yet performed, we will be happy to assist with the cancellation. Please note that once the service is provided (i.e., once the blood draw or home visit has taken place), the right of withdrawal will no longer apply.
If the service is cancelled in accordance with the right of withdrawal and has not yet been provided, you will receive a full refund. If any costs were incurred to prepare for the appointment or home visit, such as processing fees or equipment preparation, we may reduce the refund amount to cover those costs.
In the event of a right of withdrawal, your refund will be processed within 30 days from the date of cancellation confirmation.

Dispute Resolution
In the event of a dispute, we follow the recommendations of the General Complaints Board to ensure a fair and transparent resolution process.
The personal information you provide in connection with your purchase is stored for the purpose of fulfilling our contractual obligations regarding the products or services provided. In accordance with the Personal Data Protection Act, you have the right to access the information we have on record about you. Should you find any information to be incorrect, please contact us at reception@medicalroom.co.uk , and we will promptly correct or delete it.
If you have subscribed to receive our newsletters, we will process your personal data in order to send you relevant updates and information about our business.
Medical Room reserves the right to adjust pricing as needed and is not liable for any errors that may occur due to the laboratory used for sampling and analysis.
Additionally, Medical Room retains the right to make corrections to any inaccuracies in product information.
